Just kidding, there is logic to it. The logic being that since Yuu is freaking rich, Akira doesn't want to mess with him. If Yuu was to go to jail, it would be pretty easy to clear his name because he is trusted by Japan because of how rich he is. A few bags of money and he's out of jail. Then he'd go get revenge on Akira. Although Akira is rich, Yuu is richer and could get some dirt on him in a snap.
