Oh boy, just caught my first glimpse of Fox News ever. No wonder so many American normals are out of it.

fox is a weird station. . .on the one hand they have led the way in what is acceptible as far as vulgarity and content being allowed on the air. they have constantly pushed the envelope with shows like the simpsons, futurama, married with children. . .a lot of the more edgy shows that other networks would not touch. . .
but on the other hand their news coverage is very slanted towards the conservative right. . .

For a long time, I thought Fox News was just for ultra-conservative ... dont mean to be mean, but ... psychos, basically.

I was shocked to hear how much they kill all other news channels in ratings, in the states. I couldn't believe that people actually watch it. I mean, I knew some did, but not that they were so absurdly ahead of everyone else in number of watchers.

And finally the mystery of how Bush was elected starts to become clearer to me.

I can't watch it. It gives me nightmares.

Apparently when Dick Cheney is traveling, he has the tv set to Fox News in his hotel room. That alone is like an anti-endorsement.

Isn't that station crazy? I've since seen a doco about Fox news called 'Outfoxed.' They talk about getting junior not-so-telegenic Democrats on it, so the conservatives look good. Hannity and Comes is a good eg of this now.

I've enjoyed seeing the colbert report at you tube, nice piss take.

That guy O'reilly is fucking crazy! I'd like to think if there was someone like that somewhere on New Zealand (my country's) media they'd get fucked on. Lucky there's no one that even comes close.
