What is this about? What do they ask? What do they want to hear? Should I say things like "I'd prefer a French-speaking country?" Or should I just talk about how flexible I am?
When this happened to me (5 years ago) they just wanted to talk to me about the possibility of doing a different program than the one I was nominated for. It was a 5 minute conversation (it was easy for me because the program I was invited to was what I had ASKED FOR in my interview but not what I was nominated for - Deaf Ed - so I immediately said YES!) No biggie. Not scary at all.
FYI I never had a follow-up interview - I got my invite after sending in my update resume, without talking to anyone.
It's important to be flexible but if you prefer a French-speaking country, say so. I have a French major and I'm being sent somewhere that doesn't speak French. Not a big deal to me, but don't be afraid to state your preferences.
