It Finally happened: INVITATION!! CEC Panama!

After nearly 2 years of the this process, including a year deferment, I have gotten placed! Panama January 10th Community Environmental Conservation.. which is odd because I am a teacher and was an economics major. I am so excited! I have no idea what to expect. Hey I just posted on here but it came up as Anonymous... didn't mean for that to happen. Anyway, to repeat myself just a little bit, I'm the one who was a CEC volunteer in Panama from '07-'09. Thanks so much! I'll def hit you up.Were you able to bounce ideas and support your fellow CEC's while serving or where you guys pretty isolated? It seems like this position can be really interdisciplinary so I am really curious to see it will just me My community and I or a host of other volunteers spread throughout the same region.

Oh yea you'll definitely work with your other CEC'ers and bounce ideas off each other. I mean, you'll be volunteering by yourself in your community, but the actual network of volunteers in Panama is very strong and supportive.
