Betcha wonder where the heck I've been...

...I mean, if you've thought about it.

Well, here's reader's digest from my last post (December 15).

I got well.  I did the fun holiday home-Columbus-home-Columbus...hopscotch because of Christmas choir commitments.  I hung out with friends.  Received Grey's Anatomy: Season 2 for Christmas, and i barely got off my butt until I saw the entire thing ( ( Read more... )

That was a lot of reading. I hope that I still have enough energy to participate in Family Game Night tonight. I might have to take a nap to prepare. Thanks a lot.

I made it to the end...ya, lots of reading. I think I forgot everything I wanted to comment on. Now I have to read it over again.
I went to the Passion Conference last year in Nashville. I saw Will Alford, Sarah Bradley and Erica Meder there. I didn't find it all that wonderful, so I skipped it this year even tho it was a mere 30mins from my house in ATL, rather than all the way up in Nashville. I hope Louie Giglio spoke at this years': he's an awesome speaker.
The story about the cabin in the mountains sounds pretty cool; I wish I could see it. It's really pretty up there (but cold).

Hey, you need to make up for lost time, no? I'm sorry Passion didn't pump you up. It was amazing for me. Giglio did speak, and I was so inspired, I bought his book, and I've been reading it and doing the little devotional things in it mostly every day since. It's really been a growing experience, I think.
Yeah, the cabin is awesome. Maybe you could see it sometime. I can't wait for the fall. My parents and I used to go up to that area just to drive around and look at the leaves. Now, we've got a friend who has a house, and all you have to do is stand in the top room and turn in a circle!

It's good to get an update from you. I feel like I've been gone for at least a month, but I realize that I have been back for exactly a week today. There really is nothing like good, old fashioned cleaning therapy. I do it on an almost daily basis. It helps me feel in control of my life and my home. I organized the refrigerator this morning and I feel more at peace and relaxed in my own home than I have since getting back. Yeah, I know. I'm crazy - but it's a good kind of crazy.

A new, cute haircut!? I must see this!

Woah. That's so weird to think. Yeah, it does feel like you've been gone longer, but, then again, I've been gone for a month in a week(!). I do miss you, and, no, you're not crazy. It's the most cathartic thing ever to know something is clean, organized, and in your control. In fact, it's addictive. Our microwave is disguisting, and I think I might clean it tomorrow if things start to feel like they're headed downhill. :)
