Having a low day today...well it's been building. I just feel burnt out. I feel like a horrible parent for saying this but I need time away from Ethan. Tim is doing his best to occupy him in other rooms but idk.

Mum's not able to have Ethan for the day as she's cleaning and has crap everywhere. My MIL has a funeral today so she's not available

It's normal for feeling that way, about needing a break. And the Good Parent bit comes from being able to admit it and working out what to do from there. Which sounds like you're doing.

Talking with my sister-in-law about it the other day actually. She said 'yeah, that break for the parents is called 'school'!
two more weeks. She's counting down ;-)
