Calling all cooks :D

What seasonings can I add to the juices from a couple chickens I cooked to make them tastier? The broth always seems to be lacking much flavour.

broth, 2008, chicken, sept

salt, pepper, lemon pepper, paprika, poultry seasoning, sage (? if you like it, and only a little), onion powder, garlic powder... or check out my cream of chicken soup recipe for more seasoning ideas...

Salt is essential though!! :)

When we roast chicken, I like to rub them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, marjoram and a little curry powder. Marjoram is definitely good!

When I cook a chicken, I use fresh onions and garlic and the only seasoning I put on them is salt and pepper. I save the juice/broth and use them for other things and it is always very tasty.

Adding carrots, celery and onion, salt and pepper to the chicken as you boil it gives beautiful flavor.

So good to hear from you!! I've been thinking and praying for you LOTS! I was looking up healing for lung scarring the other day and I'm so glad you got in touch. There were some natural remedies and some medications. I very much prefer the natural route but I'm wondering if you might need something stronger in your case. I was going to ask my ND about it too next time I stop by ( ... )

I had looked on WTM too but didn't come across a lot of info. Glad you were able to find something. I'm praying you'll get the necessary help you need. *hugs ( ... )
