CNN, "12 million teenagers have online blogs."

Once again, 1/2 of all 12th graders have either tried or smoke marijuana.

I have two questions:
What is more socially acceptable? Obviously, blogs.
Why is the answer that you just gave to me socially wrong, in terms of freedom? Democracy anyone?
