Re: I have a question...peacefullyApril 19 2006, 20:43:55 UTC
This is covered in my FAQ (which is linked in every post, but I guess you missed it :) ). There's a link to my capping tutorial in #2 and a link to my icon making tutorial in #8.
I don't think it's covered in my capping tutorial, but for animations I do everything it says (especially capturing to file), but pause at the part I want an animation of and pause-cap-step-cap-step etc until I have all the frames I need. If that makes sense.
Most usually using PrintScreen won't work for capping. PowerDVD has worked best for me, especially since it will cap to file so I can have all the frames in one place for use in my animation program (though I use paint shop pro 7 and animation shop, I think the tutorial should be able to work either way, it's the same concept anyway).

I always wanted to do animated icons like you do but I lack the knowledge or the proper way of doing it.
I use Photoshop on a daily basis and I basic animation knowledge with Image Ready.
I tried to find a tutorial for saving frames but couldn't find any. I hope you can clarify things for me.
Thank you sooooo much!
