One of the wisest and gentlest men I know told me once to "listen to the animals, always listen to the animals and watch them."

Tonight, amidst a loud clamor of voices, movement, and smoke, I watched and I listened.
Tonight I had a silent lesson with a cat on my lap.

A cat with 7 toes taught me Patience.
