This damn cold virus is getting me after all. Have taken massive doses of Echinacea (my usual quick virus-fix), two doses of Airborne, juice, water... turned up the heat... slept more than usual

It sounds like you're doing all you can do. Get as much rest as you can, and keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks! Ironically, I'm now eating the leftovers of the same homemade chicken and rice soup I made my sick husband to "dose" him up - now I need it too! Well, you'll be getting a Christmas card... whenever. That's usual for me - just can't get into the season very early, I guess. I got one from you, thanks! Heh, my poor friend in Saskatoon - I've already told him that I might as well make it a Valentine's card, seeing how long it takes the sled dogs to get mail to him, lol! (I'm always teasing him about how they don't feed the sled dogs enough)

Thanks! Yep, she's amazing. I can't believe I was so lucky to find a dog this calm. Even if she does have trust issues and is wary of every other human (and sometimes me, too, if she thinks I'm going to try to pick her up, heh.) Re the cold, at least I can breathe!!
