Good news and bad

Jan 18, 2011 15:25

The surgery went well. I had far less pain than I was expecting. And now there is no more pain when I walk.

Bad news my daughter has multiple tumors on her ovaries and fibroids in her uterus. She is making an appointment to see a specialist. They advised her probably the best option is to have a complete hysterectomy.

I'm glad that you're on the road to recovery but so sorry to hear about your daughter.

Wishing the both of you the best.

Glad to hear you're doing well.

Sorry about your daughter's news. I had fibroids, and found out afterward that the cancer was also in my ovaries, so I'm glad I had a full hysterectomy. We were hoping for kids, but cancer is nothing to play with. *hugs*

She is really worried. One of the masses is the size of a lemon. I keep telling her positive things, but I'm scared too.

I'm glad you're doing well. As for your daughter, better to get everything out as soon as possible. Although a lot of stuff can be benign, there is no need to take chances with her health. A hysterectomy is life changing and hormonally disruptive but a heck of a lot better than masses.

I'm happy to hear surgery went well and that you no longer have pain when you walk. I'm sorry about the tumors and fibroids yet hopeful the specialist will find a treatment that works.
