Texas to NY alone

I'm going in 10 days with a UHaul trailer on my SUV and it seems I'm driving alone. (My cat is coming too.)

I'm having a hard time figuring out how long it'll take me or what route I should go, especially taking winter weather into account.

Does anyone have any suggestions or estimates? It'll be from Austin to NYC.

I wish I'd driven anything close to that route to help you out. I'd stick to interstates as much as you can as they're more likely to be kept clear ime.

so maybe head to I-40 and then look for logical places to head north and further east on highways?

I have no idea but good luck! Take lots of breaks - driving solo is exhausting enough without having to deal with snow...
