[Hinamori's sitting outside again, when she turns the PCD on, under the eaves of the house as the rain falls down, over everything, the music in the background complimented nicely by the sound of the rainWrapped up in a light shawl with no shoes on, an open book next to her, it's clear she's not going anywhere. She starts to say something ( Read more... )

something like normal life, she's a shinigami--really, can't always be cheerful, but how is the garden?, home is where the heart is, shake the emo out, green thumbs, event: background music, i don't live in the clinic, sorry for wanting more, moment of respite, missing her squad, this year: peaches

There's not a lot to do on rainy days, because you have to stay inside and you can't go out to play. My sisters and I used to play pretend whenever we were stuck inside, but they're not here.

[And because Bubbles rarely stays on one subject for long...]

That's a nice garden!

Pretend... [She laughs because, honestly, she hasn't been a child for.. a couple of decades at least, but Bubbles is pretty cute, and it's a genuinely amused laugh.] I have some friends here, but I don't think they'd be very interested in playing pretend.

Thank you!

[Bubbles laughs, too. She loves to laugh and finds other people's laughs rather infectious.] You could always ask them! They might want to play and they're just too shy to say so!

You're welcome! There isn't as much green stuff in this world, so it's nice to see a garden!

Haha, maybe I will then, later.

That's true enough. It's nice to be able to let something grow here.

But even while sitting on a rainy day, you can always have a light conversation, don't you think?

Of course... Though I think you typically need another person for that. [Cue an 'Any volunteers?' smile]

Mhm. I'd be all wet by the time I got over there, on a day like today though.

Your garden seems to be coming along nicely, Hinamori-fukutaichou?

Thank you, Unohana-taichou. I'm glad of it, after all the work everyone's put in already.

Most of the vegetables aren't very big yet. The beans, hopefully soon. And the tomatoes are nearly red. Everything else seems like it might take a little longer. Maybe a month or so?
