that crazy english language you are referring to, i had to do a unit (last semester) on it called "communication and creativity". and we had to go over the different types of ambiguity and anaphora. and how it is applied to humour, tragedy and poetry. while the link on wiki show really funny lines, we had to pick from some complex writer like shakesphere .. you know what who cares. it was damn annoying, and all the while i had to ask myself - in a larger sense, what does this all have to do with the media? more like english studies if you ask me.
