I had an interview today and it went pretty well! It is to be a case manager for adults with mental disabilities. I have another interview on Friday for a similar kind of job. Yay for using my education

It's stressful at times, and you really need to be able to multi-task. But it's rewarding. When you say "mental disabilities" though, do you mean mentally ill (that's the population I work with, along with substance abusers), or developmentally disabled? And what agency is it for? I'm excited for you!
I think there is some of both (they mentioned MR)? But mostly mentally ill and they said some have dual diagnosis inclucing substance abuse.
The interview today was with Fellowship Health Resources, Inc. located in Hope Street Apartments. I have another one Friday with Tide's Family Services in Pawtucket. I found them both on jobsinri.com. I suppose now that I'm really considering this, I should apply with yours, too. How long have you done this? Do you plan to do it forever?
& thanks. :)
Congrats on your new virtual doggies & living situation! You definately need a new oven!
I get them done here: http://www.sukhysthreading.com/ And these are the hours: Tuesday - Thursday and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Closed
It costs $10 but its so worth it cause I could never get my eyebrows into this shape on my own and I stretch it out by plucking inbetween visits. It's only Indian ladies who work there (which fills me with trust, for some reason) and it takes maybe 3 minutes in the chair. They put baby powder on first with a tissue and then use little scissors to cut the long ones. They don't talk much, just place your fingers on your eyelid and the other fingers above your brow and tell you "hold." (the tighter, the less painful) When they're done, you put lotion on yourself.
I heard your interview went really well! Are you coming to visit us at work any time soon? We could use all the fun people (aka non-lawyers) we can get :-)
