Powershift was incredible. I want to write about it, but am going to catch up on work at the moment. I have a "Power Past Coal" picket sign from the Capitol Climate Action leaning against my dresser, and schoolbooks and unpacked things and posters scattered over my room.

Haha, yes. Actually, it made me want to KILL white politicians who want to keep it that way! Or white or black anyones who want to keep it that way. I was angrier probably than I've EVER been in my life. It's unbelievable that some of that stuff still happens. I cannot process it, and I read the book so long ago.

I'm glad you enjoyed Powershift! So so glad ;) You must feel empowered and strong! And good things will happen, no doubt. I LOVE THAT QUOTATION! Who is that guy??

Oh man so many good things. We shall stop all who want inequality next year with our equitable teaching strategies! AND you can still be a part of the environmental movement in many ways. :) eeeee yay good in all places.

I want to talk to you about this more. I need to see you; I haven't in awhile. Let's make it happen.

I think this is so well-articulated and so accurately mirrors the way I feel about this movement, Rachel. We ARE just a speck... but we are a unique speck and have a unique ability and responsibility (thx to huge forebrain) to engage with the problems of the world. This is our dharma, perhaps, in this age on this earth... and we should accept our tininess and cosmic inconsequence, but also our incredible and important part!

I love you!
