Just bought my tickets for NYC, though I haven't bought the return tickets yet. I'm arriving in NYC on May 4th (the Tuesday before the con) and there might might might be a trip to Boston somewhere in there, but that depends on time and transportation. aw man, how much did you end up spending on tix? that looks like what I was looking at. and are you taking that chartered flight into toronto?

Well, I actually used frequent flyer points for the PDX->NYC trip, but tickets through Southwest are still around $159 that week (not counting tax, etc). Still thinking of taking a bus up to Toronto, though. Cheapest tickets back home from Buffalo on Monday are $149 (before tax, etc).

i'm gonna send you an email about this whole NYC to TORONTO bus thingy.
the flight SFO to toronto for me looks to be around 475, whereas SFO to NYC is only 279 :)

Dude, cheapest tickets on Southwest from SFO to LaGuardia are $90-110 for Thursday May 6 and Friday May 7. I hope this link works ( ... )

Whoops, that link goes to Tuesday's ticket prices. Well, whatever--you can navigate to Thursday and Friday or whenever you want to land in NYC, and the prices will be roughly the same.
