Slow Cooking Goodness

Jan 26, 2009 16:43

Anyone know any good slow-cooker recipes? I just acquired a slow-cooker and will be trying out my trusty butter chicken recipe tomorrow. If cleaning it is easy, I'm going to give it a whirl the day after too... if I can find a good recipe.

Thanks in advance! XD

Any particular recipes you like a lot?

I just skimmed through... is it just me or does almost every recipe call for something to be cooked before you put it in? Kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me... :/

I'm probably going to try making soup of some kind on Wednesday. I like soup. Plus, I have potatoes, carrots, celery, rice, tomato and bullion... yay for ingredients! Hmm... maybe I can try pea soup! That takes a while normally... I wonder if that means it'll actually take three days - 'cause that would suck...

Hmmm...I must be catching the right one's in my inbox because from my experience none have called for anything to be precooked. (will have to look through the master list now)

But there is a chicken, veggie and rice one that my family adores!! And there are 2 for boneless spare ribs I love as well. i would advise staying away from the Ginger chicken one...ugh. I will dig through my PC and see if I can come up with the names or links to these.

I'm not a big fan of ginger - I'll definitely stay away!!
