I've found that it is very unwise to focus or even bring up the subject of homosexuality in a witness encounter. Even if the person you are witnessing to brings it up. It's very thin ice focusing on just that item that can cause that person to reject everything you are saying. It's hard and I can see these young guys motive to make sure people understand the essentials of the faith, we must certainly be educated to speak wisely with Biblical foundations, speaking the TRUTH in LOVE. The truth is hard to hear but it can be spoken in a loving way. I find that The Way of The Master has a really great evangulizing technique. HAve you ever heard about them?
Hate to spoil it for you but The Raggamuffin Gospel is heretical. The Author Brennan Manning says, “God is a kooky God who can scarcely bear to be without us” (Page 165) It is blasphemous to describe God as “kooky.” And if His love means He can “scarcely bear to be without us,” what is eternal Hell all about? Jesus frequently warned about Hell, and warned, in fact, that most sinners will go there. “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matt. 7:13-14). Again, really hate spoiling it for you but I'd rather that then having you read something incorrect. There are certainly more things wrong with it that I found but I'll leave you with this one and have you decide the rest. Please understand I'm concerned souly for you and also for those you are teaching.
