I finally got a call to substitute. Yesterday I had a third grade class. Those kids were insane. They would NOT shut up, and one of the kids said, "Oh my God.. after this day of noise, we are all going to need some excedrin." LOL One of the kids gave me these flapping hands that made a clapping noise, so I started flapping them like crazy and

what did you have to do to get licensed to substitute or whatever?

nyc is ridiculous about that.

ha. nothing. just sign up and do a background check. since i have a degree, i get paid 10 an hour.
