I recieved a tabouret as a gift yesterday. ^^' That's one less piece of furniture I have to acquire. All I need now is a drafting desk. It makes me so happy the people who gave it to me. :D ( Read more... )

I can't believe that was a kid's movie. That would have terrified the hell out of me. I think the best scene was the Bog of Eternal Stench--and they walked across those stones that farted. I would have been crossing those ALL DAY if I were them.

That scene was pretty cute. ^^

Sweet. Looking forward to it. ^_^

I still say "Legend" beats "The Labyrinth" =D. Labyrinth was pretty disturbing for a little kid I guess I remember the things with the body part that were very scary too me but I'm with you about the Bog of Eternal Stench. Oh the music one could make.

However scary the movie was it did provide some good points on life in very creative ways =D.

I'm curious about "Batman Begins" ^_^; though I'm also iffy about it.

I haven't seen "Legend." Wuzzat?

BoES = Awesome. As long as you don't step in it. ><

It did have a good way of pointing out the facts of life. Although Jennifer Connelly annoyed the hell out of me. One of Fuzzy's friends commented that was was being a LARPer. XD

I have high hopes for it--especially considering what Joel Schumacher did to the franchise. I don't think it will ever be as good as the original movie, but I'm hoping it will have the same darker tone. =3

I'm actually hoping that this one is better than the first. If you think about it, the first was about really cool cinematography, in particular, great usage of lighting and shadow as well as inspired set design. However, the lion's share of characterization went to the Joker, rather than Batman, which is reflected in the fact that the Joker appears in the movie far more often than Batman. The moments where we see some sort of characerization on the part of Bruce Wayne stand out because they are few and far between.

The new movie seems to be about Bruce Wayne figuring out what to do with his life. Batman's always been a compelling character, and if they can make it seem like the demons in his head are more dangerous than the ones he fights on the streets, you've got a winner.

I never noticed that. Neat.

Do you think the movie will be successful, ie: depict him as you just described?

I certainly hope so. I haven't seen Catwoman yet, but I'd imagine anything to be an improvement over how that turned out. >_< I'd still like to see Catwoman though - I figure it'll be good for a laugh.

Eh, I'll wait until it comes to video to make fun of it. Like "Gigli." That was a train wreck of a movie.
