I'm playing bass bone this semester with the Amherst College Jazz Ensemble. I'm excited :)

Wow - why the change? Don't you just love it? I'm on lead this semester.

I was bored. It's not a very good band, and the lead 'bone is passable, but the bass 'bone sucks ass. So I figured I'd step in on bass this year and hide him on 3rd, doubled with someone else. So we'll see how it goes!

Oh, and to add to my list of musical accomplishments, I'm playing COWBELL on my drummer's senior recital this Sunday. Trombone, too, but fucking COWBELL on one tune! I'm stoked.
