I wrote this poem in November 2003

I over 3 years none of the feelings i convey here have changed, that makes me so sad

She doesn’t like what she sees
She never has
She never will
She looks in the mirror
She sees ugly, she sees fat
No amount of makeup could cover up all the imperfections she sees
Everyday, nothing new
She can’t stand her weight
All she sees

Oh honey! Do you really feel this way? I think you are such a beautiful person, inside and out! You are a wonderful friend and an amazing person. Please don't think so low of yourself. I know it's easier for someone from the outside to say that and to tell you to not think that way. It's hard not to. I understand that as I, too, have felt those things many times. But I want you to know that I love you the way you are and that I miss you a ton! Please keep your head up because I know you will prevail!
