Museums are funny places for me as a trained historian it lets me get closer to the past then I normally am able to with the words on the page I have studied the battles of the thirty years war the war of the Spanish succession and both world wars for longer then I can remember. i wrote an entry yesterday in dreden and now there is no sign of it arghh it was quite a nioce one too what happened computer gremlins trying to destroy me i say yes they are

T came over to visit from Ireland and Christ how I missed her what is it about me that I don’t know how important someone is in my life until I have pushed them away. i just took a tour of the sewer system complete with two rats scarpering over my boots following the river wien under the city in a tunnel that seemed to strech on for ever. they let off a flash bang and the last echo died thirty seconds latter. when we finally emerged into the clear night we had been underground under the largest open air market ( Read more... )
