It is impossible to pleasantly combine basic economic principle with a murder-mystery novel. i.e., you absolutely can not describe anything and everything in terms of economics and expect to have birthed an enjoyable piece of literature.

I know that big words are difficult for you to understand, but that doesn't mean that the material is automatically pretentious dreck.

I understand exactly what he's saying when he uses big words, I'm just not enjoying it, because all of the economics lectures are dry as fuck.

And it takes place in Harvard, so all of the characters are senior professors and spend their days being hoity-toity and scholarly all within the plot of a corny murder mystery novel.

Definitely not Dianetics.

Tehehehe.

Sowweeeee.

...I have to read French World War 1 literature. It's painful because there are so many characters that I can't keep them straight. But at least it's somewhat poetic.

I thought it would be fun, too. WW1 is my favorite war. But it isn't very interesting yet.

My favorite war is WW2. Even though not as many people died in that one, it was still pretty good.
