We've been visiting Cape Ann for the last couple of days since my brother-in-law has arrived in town. Today we went out from Gloucester on a whale watch ship and spent about 5 hours out in the ocean. Sounds like you're having a great time. Jess and I took my parents to Rockport when they visited a couple of years ago; great seafood. I managed to live in Massachusetts for five years and never got in a boat - not even those pedal-boats at Boston Common LOL

If you have the chance, you should also take them out Route 117 through Weston, Stow, etc. and also to New Hampshire. You may not have time for that though, and especially with a toddler and an infant in tow it might be increasingly difficult. Maybe you can swing through Millis and empty out a dirty diaper on the lawn of the people who bought our house!

Haha in Millis that would be funny. Actually my mom is watching Luca while we foray into the edges of the state. We'll probably make it at least to Dartmouth, NH and Ogunquit, ME. Also maybe a little into VT if we can figure out something besides antique stores and farms to visit there ;-)

If you're willing to go up as far as Waterbury VT, there is the Ben & Jerry's factory.

The answer to the trivia question at the end of the tour is "7.5 percent" (how much of their profits do they give to charity?). I won the ice cream bar on two consecutive trips to the factory on that answer.
