Im in Palenque now. The bus ride was about 13 and a half hours with no sleep. Worse bus driver ever! I felt like the road was swaying from side to side half the time and the other he would speed up to the speed bump and then slam on the brakes right before it and go over reealy slowly. So the day has turned out to be much better than yesterday and this morning. A girl let me use her cell phone and was slightly more helpful than the woman at the counter of the hotel. She told us where to go, and helped ask the man who was working where things were. In fact, he then asked us to go to a club with him tonight, so we´ll see ( Read more... )

My back is getting worse. I went to the doctor today and he said he really didn't know what it was, but that I need an MRI. I've never had one. I hear they're scary. He also gave me Vicodin, so I should be a happy girl once I'm done with my classes on Friday (and maybe tonight).
