You can get your own birth certificate. I didn't even bring my drivers license, and they let me get mine. I just had to show them my social security card, and something that proved where i lived. Then vince had to show his ID, and sign some paper. So if Your brother or sister came with an id, and you brought a check stub or something and a school id...anything you can get your own birth certificate if you really need it. Its only $12. Then you can get a state ID.
P.S. Im leaving for Dallas on your birthday, no booze and porn for me. But i'll be back the next weekend. My mom will be in town too.

hey, is it true that you have to get another ID after you turn 18?

if its a drivers license. You get one with no restrictinos.
