well... my mom asked the national guard for help cleaning up the mess at the condo's. they just told her they didn't do taht sort of thing, asked if she needed any ice, water or MRE's, and told her to go ask the red cross ( Read more... )

apparently you are supposed to clean up your own mess if it's a company? maybe? i dunno? she can't find people to work, everyone is leaving

surely they can't expect all the businesses to be able to clean up for themselves. and i can see that it would be hard to hire someone right now. who IS doing clean up? i know the county does roads, but there has to be someone cleaning up all that other mess from the levelled houses, apartments, etc.

i dunno... my mom has been doing a lot of work out at the condo's... they have to pull out all the carpet and clean EVERYTHING, walls, ceilings, appliances, inside cabnits, etc...
