victory over the div III introduction

after struggling with my intro since december and having my committee kick my ass about my intro for months, i finally have made significant progress.  why is it so hard to write an introduction to my own research?  i did all the work, why can't i introduce it.  but 3 hours in the amherst library with one major caffeine-induced headche and  finally
