It's amazing how you can use your brain to turn a deadend, rote task into a thought experiment on the migration of people in & around the metro area. As for me, I'd be making up stories about the enrollees & it would all turn into some torid telenovela.
Of late the Times seems to think Mt. Vernon/Yonkers/White Plains aren't really suburban anymore but rather they are transmogrifying into these ex-urban anomalies full of vibrant immigrant communities. Not the lock-jawed country-clubbin' Westchester of yore.

white plains is being rebuilt like crazy. they re-designed the downtown, put in a bunch of starbucks, a fountain, luxury condos, and an upscale shopping center. they're even building a trump tower. there are now express trains to manhattan from white plains non-stop to attract more yuppies who are moving out of the city.

your stereotypical country-club suburban family doesn't live in mr. vernon or yonkers, they live further north in bronxville, eastchester, scarsdale, pelham, in smaller towns. except for isolated mansion-neighborhoods of mt. vernon that border bronxville and the waterfront of yonkers, these two cities have always been urban neighborhoods with diverse populations. but again, these cities are being gentrified like white plains to attract people from nyc.
