I fully support your resolve and your resolutions! Especially #1. I was trying to do more concentrated patches of housework too, telling myself that the busywork would burn calories and boost my metabolism (and even if it didn't I would have a cleaner house!). I was doing pretty well about setting the timer for 20 or 30 minutes increments and just forcing myself to get it done over the summer, but then, when classes started, both exercise and cleanliness/hygiene kind of fell to the wayside. But your resolution reminds me that I should tackle that goal again! Best of luck in 2012! I think it'll be a good one!
Thank you for your support! I set the timer today, finally, and got a little bit accomplished. I am determined to keep it up though, so I can see real progress. And, like you, I'm hoping to lose a little weight in the process!
