Spent 2 weeks with Katrina playing house. I have to say, it's interesting. Since I had nothing to do while she was at work, I picked up baking. Made a few loaves of bread, some muffins and cookies. After the sale of a house I have more money than I've ever had, about 10 times more actually. After paying off student loans and paying or prepaying every conceivable bill I still have more money than I know what to do with. Life has been busy as of late. Technically I don't have to go on the next deployment (somewhere in Iraq) because I made the cutoff date. But I look at my unit and see a lot of new faces and people who haven't gone anywhere or seen anything. And these are the guys who are expected to lead others. The end of relationships have always been hard on me.
