Gearing up for the Tooth Fairy

The boy currently has his two bottom front teeth, and the right top front is just about finished breaking through the gumline. As Chris was tickling him into a total giggle meltdown, he noticed that the surrounding gum looks awfully red and bumpy.

he looks so cute! i know the teeth thing is a bugger so my sympathies.

i just love that picture of the boy. i'm having a hard time getting any of Jakob right now, he starts running at the camera, which results in some really odd and mostly blurry shots. :)

This is him making his way towards the camera - he is fascinated by the lens cap that dangles from a string!

He's done amazingly well with the teeth - you'd hardly know anything is wrong. But from the way that his gums look, it seems like he's going to get about 4 or 5 at once. Eep!!
