Engagements 'r us
Well, two daughters engaged to be married in 2003. What a neet thing. Hard to believe it is happening so fast. I am so happy for both of them.
My life has been one big whirlwind. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
I think it all started with my dog, Homer, becoming ill, and we had to put him to sleep. No way was I going to have my doggie suffer. Then, mom bought a condo that belonged to one of our daughters, close to us. She has never done a loan by herself, so she thought she had a loan, but all that was supposed to happen was the paperwork was to be faxed to her. She doesn't have a fax. Hubby stepped in and fixed it, loan was fine, etc,etc.
Then I started traveling again, was in Atlanta and Munich last month. Atlanta was a trade show, and it was so damn hot I thought I was going to melt. Long days. Munich was also work related, a conference, no air in the hotel, and again, it was hot. I did manage to smuggle back a few cuban cigars for Tim, and some of hubbys friends.
Both trips were with my boss, and she is a trip.
Just a whirlwind of activities. Crazy. I came back last Friday evening, mom moved Saturday, had a labor day party at my big bros house that was a bust. His kids are way out there, and I mean, way out there. Drugs, etc. They decided to smoke a little dope in my bro's house. Now, my bro and his wife don't smoke at all! It was all downhill from there.
Work is nuts, too. Busy, busy, busy. I have allergies, or sinus, or something, so I was late to work this morning. In addition to sleeping in, there was also a 5 car pileup on the expressway, and that took an additional 35 minutes to go 4 miles.
Oh well, that is life. My dr appt went well, no evidence of disease, so that is a good thing. I don't have the cellulitus any more, but have something else wierd, some kind of a rash. Did get some meds for that, and my next appt is in November.
choochootwo and plhs are the two daughters that are now engaged. One is getting wed in January, the other, I think, sometime close to the end of April. So, double the pleasure? Should be fine.
I am sure I left something out, it has just been one really extremely busy month. Oh, I know, I am also doing a chat-a-thon for Breast Cancer.
