Injecting drugs

After Memorial Day I started injecting copaxone, which is a multiple sclerosis drug that is supposed to slow down the progression of the disease. No cure, but has been proven to slow it down a bit. It isn’t bad, just didn’t like the idea of doing it. Daily, after dinner, just under the skin. Needle is only about ½” long, so it isn’t bad. Next ( Read more... )

It's nice to see you post. I'm glad you don't have a problem with the injections. When I was in my early twenties and my migraines were so bad, one of the "experimental type" drugs required injecting yourself. I had the hardest time. I did it one time and had a bad reaction to the med so I never had to do it again.

I know what you mean about not talking to customers. It feels like a demotion and the customers don't really know what all is going on.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. A granddaughter. Woot!

Yay for babies and BOO for needles...Medicine is a pain in the butt but I'm happy to hear you aren't so tired. How neat you like working with your people. I suck at it. Keep me in the back of the shop away from the customers and we'll all be much happier. LOL

With medications you do what you have to do, but injections are tough. I hope the meds ease your fatigue.
I can identify with what you posted about work and not having any say in the changes going on. Did you express your desire to stay in touch with your customers to the powers that be?
And I second what others have said here. It's good to hear from you!
