Why and HELL would anyone stock up on milk??!! The power usually goes out during these storms, so it makes no sense. Water, candles..and toilet paper, I can understand...

Here everyone buys out the milk and bread first thing. I've often wondered over the course of my life if people are sitting home by the window, watching the snow, eating milk sandwiches...Southerners are weird but it's simply ridiculous. And you just don't need the bread for making snowcream.
