Love it or hate it, it seems like you can’t go more than a couple of hundred metres in a city centre these days without tripping over a Starbucks. They’re all reassuringly the same. Not only is this an awesome post, but I am 99.9% sure that this is, in fact, the very same Starbucks my family and I took refuge in on day 2 in Kyoto due to tiring of the aforementioned fish-and-miso-soup experience. :D :D :D

I can sympathise with the non-speakers, though. I can NOT remember which weirdly named size is which no matter how many times I go. -_-

Following on from the tea meta we now have Starbucks deconstruction! It's kind of weird to think I can walk into Starbucks in Exeter and order the same thing that you order in Japan! Umm! Cinnammon Latte's - and I like those waffle biscuits you sit on the top of the mug till the syrup goes all gooey!
