I currently have 226 works archived at AO3. Pick a number from 1 (the most recent) to 226 (the first thing I posted there), and I'll tell you three things I currently like about it.

Hahahaha, 4 is After the click of the shutting! I gotta admit, I'm still kind of in honeymoon stage with that story, but I guess it is cheating to say "everything." Or even just "all of aesc's bits." So.

1) Honestly, I really like the porn in the story. I think it drives their relationship and their characterization, I think it's absolutely necessary and relevant all of the many times it appears, and I also think it's pretty hot.

2) Aesc and I discussed the emotional and plot related beats we wanted to hit before we started writing, but didn't outline in a very detailed fashion. There are a lot of plot related elements in there that showed up purely by chance, and ended up being like Of *course that is how it goes, it couldn't have been any other way and really astonished me with how well they reflected the themes and motifs we'd established for the story ( ... )

27! A World of Fire and Dew

1) I love the way their powers take on new meanings in this setting, and even reflect back on their relationship in canon.

2) That ache of Erik wanting to fall and trust and be at peace, but not letting himself.

3) The image of Erik surprised awake, reaching for all his metal.

32 is many little wild wishes

1) Underage kink! \o/ Teenage boys in loooooove.

2) One of my favorite type of Erik characterizations - where he knows enough to try and hold back, but he's already way too far gone for that to work.

3) This story always makes me think of the song "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys, which just puts a smile on my face every time.
