WE'RE BACK! It's ficcin' time!
You asked, jackoweskla and I listened -- the One-Hour Fic/Porn Challenge is back for business! The theme for this month is:
JE LOVE SONGS
Since it's been so long, we didn't want to keep this constricted to only a couple of groups. Therefore... what's more universally JE than the love song? Beth's ever-so-helpful friendslist (thanks, everyone ;) compiled a monster list here of possible songs, but there are a whole lot more out there!
Maybe a very-special Valentine's Shokura is being planned! Maybe Jin is helping Nakamaru plan a date, with disastrous consequences. Maybe KinKi Kids has decided that they are done with the love songs, thank you very much. The song doesn't have to be overtly discussed in the story, it's just an idea to get you started.
PLEASE PIMP THIS OUT TO ANYONE YOU THINK MIGHT BE INTERESTED!
This challenge will be held on Saturday, February 7, at 10:30am California time. (That's 1:30pm EST New York time, 6:30pm London time, and 3:30am Tokyo time.) We'll open the chat room a half hour before to get things started: tentative chat room is johnnyskoinouta. (You need AIM or Gchat to be in the chat, however, it's not necessary to participate in the chat! We can let you know over MSN or Y!chat when we start/stop.)
THE RULES:
1) Put your favorite song/songs on repeat
2) Come up with a plot or you know, JUST FREEWRITE US LOTS OF PRON.
3) Everyone starts writing AT THE SAME TIME for ONE HOUR.
4) At the end of the hour, we'll say stop. You are allowed to finish the word you were writing at the end of the challenge.
5) POST what you wrote. Do not correct, fix, or beta. Because really, the entire point of the challenge is to just write and let your imagination go.
6) Link to everyone participating in the challenge. After all, it's fun stressing over writing and cheering each other on. (I'll make a html box so everyone can c&p the code with everyone else's links)
7) Read everyone's and enjoy! Flail as much as you can.
