Sending the old year off and bringing in the New Year with a BANG!
It's been a long time but one day katmillia and ryogrande poked me to say "Hey! Let's do a fic challenge!" and I was pretty easily convinced! So we're having a 48 Hour Fic Challenge to end the old year and start the new year! The theme for this month is:
Countdown/New Year's Celebrations
Since it's been so long, we didn't want to keep this constricted to only a couple of groups. Therefore... let's celebrate this upcoming weekend with a good old-fashion fic challenge!
You've got 48 hours to complete this challenge! It's been a while and maybe you're not up to celebrating with the crazy masses. So come and join our celebration of fic!
There's so much to write about with this theme. You can spin it any way you like from backstage inter-group shenanigans (helloooo Arashi playing games on Kanjani8 who teases NewS or KinKi Kids getting part of V6, TOKIO, and NewS to backdance [badly!] for them) to New Year's Day traditions. Have fun with the theme!

This challenge will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 9:00pm California time. (That's 12am EST New York time, 5am London time, and 2pm Tokyo time.) The challenge ends on January 1, 2011 at 9pm California time ( 12am EST NYC, 5am London, and 2pm Tokyo). Hopefully, everyone will be able to participate! If you finish writing under 48 hours, you don't have to wait for the challenge to end in order to post. Go ahead and post it in your journal and comment on this post with the link! I'll include it in the fic roundup. :D
We'll open the chat room a half hour before to get things started: tentative chat room is johnnyskoinouta. (You need AIM or Gchat to be in the chat, however, it's not necessary to participate in the chat! We can let you know over MSN or Y!chat when we start/stop.)
THE RULES:
1) Put your favorite song/songs on repeat
2) Come up with a plot or you know, JUST FREEWRITE US LOTS OF PRON.
3) Everyone starts writing AT THE SAME TIME for FORTY EIGHT HOURS.
4) At the end of the last hour, we'll say stop. You are allowed to finish the word you were writing at the end of the challenge.
5) POST what you wrote. Do not correct, fix, or beta. Because really, the entire point of the challenge is to just write and let your imagination go.
6) Link to everyone participating in the challenge. After all, it's fun stressing over writing and cheering each other on. (I'll make a html box so everyone can c&p the code with everyone else's links)
7) Read everyone's and enjoy! Flail as much as you can.
8) You are more than welcome to CONTINUE *highly encourages!* what you wrote. :D
