oh yes, i went there. alright, kids, brace yourself for another gushfest about a band everybody else has probably already finished gushing over from the d.

i'm going to commit ritual suicide because i didn't even know this show was happening.
another reason to find every band i'd ever want to see and friend them on myspace

that sucks. i would've invited you to the show, had i known we had a potential suicide on our hands (or had i known you like Andrew Bird).
he is playing in Duluth tonight. if you leave now, you may be able to catch a few songs.

Andrew Bird is a cool cool man. I always loved Squirrel Nut Zippers, in fact that's one of the few times that I ever had to rush out to the local CD emporium and special order an album when I saw the video on MTV. Squirrel Nut Zippers - "HOT"
His solo stuff wif "Bowl of Fire" I think is usually just as enjoyable. There are all these folks in the world who have so much talent that you just have to stand back and look at them like a piece of art all by themselves. It makes me happy and proud to say that most of my friends are that way.

as for andrew bird. amazing. the guy who played before him, and with him, dosh (?) was really cool.
at one point, i cried while he was playing. i haven't seen a show in awhile, and the live music, and the fact i've had a lot of cool little things happen to me, just played with my emotions and made me all so happy again probably did it for me.
it was fantastic.
ps... sorry to hear about your snoozefest of a meeting. whittier cluster spent the afternoon at the mia with 75 4th and 5th graders. which was a lot of fun actually.
anyways, i love you.
