Summary: Ever wondered how Jones trained the beastie? Still, don’t have an answer really, just this.
T’was life, grown enormous in the warm blue Caribbean.
Was hungry-so it fed.
Was driven--so it rutted.
When t’was small, Mother's BOOMCRACK meant comfort of her bulk and food,
sailors-meat abandoned by the Ferryman.
It heard/felt Mother’s BOOMCRACK--so it ended all about, bringing down man and mast, ending dreams
and adventures as swiftly as it consumed or copulated.
It did not inherit intelligence to decide its path nor conscience capable of weighing
Sparrow's conundrum, what a man can do for love.
Jones’ terrible pet t’was a living beastie made legend, paradoxical catalyst, Sparrow’s loss to the devil.
