I wonder how apologising was supposed to be a good idea, anyway.

At least, I assumed that in the first panel, the woman had not heard Pig… now if he had gone up to her and said, “I commented inappropriately on your breasts, and I want to apologise for that”, wouldn’t that have been even ruder? What she didn’t know couldn’t hurt her as much as having him state it explicitly to her, or something like that?
