[Name:] Pearl Fey
[Age:] 9
[Gender:] Female
[Marital Status:] :T single
[Sexuality:] :T Heterosexual
[Occupation:] Spiritualist
[Ladder Preference:] Um, I like all ladders the same...

CONNECTIONS

[Family:]
Maya Fey - Pearl looks up to Maya a lot, and has a strong sisterly bond with her since she's one of the few family members that she has left. Even though Pearl is much stronger spiritually, she still thinks Maya is better than her in every way. She loves her, always sticking up for her whenever she's in trouble, and always listens to her (even if it involves forcing Phoenix into doing something he doesn't want to do). Also harbors a bit of innocent jealousy of Maya and Phoenix's so-called romantic relationship, but she'll always support Maya no matter what!

Mia Fey - She didn't really know her that well, but Maya looked up to her and had only heard good things about her (not to mentioned she channeled her quite a few times), so Pearl respects her as well.

Morgan Fey - Even if her mother was locked away for conspiring to murder, she's still her mother and loves her. She knows what the reasons behind her actions were, but she won't talk about it much. It still hurts her too much to think about it, and still has mixed feelings about everything. She visits her whenever she can, usually about once a month.

Father - Pearl never really knew her father, seeing as he left the family when she was very young. She doesn't feel any strong hateful feelings of hate towards him, but would probably feel sad about the entire ordeal if he was brought up or mentioned.

Iris - Pearl likes her, seeing as she's very kind and gentle. They've only just gotten to know each other (and realizing that they are indeed half-siblings) before Iris was hauled off to jail, but Pearl thinks she's very nice. But beyond that, she still doesn't really know how to act around her seeing as the news of having a sister was a bit sudden and under awkward circumstances. She hasn't seen much or heard from her ever since her arrest.

[Friends:]

Phoenix Wright - Oh, Mr. Nick... what would Mystic Maya ever do without you? When they first met, naturally, she was wary of him. But upon learning (aka assuming) he was Maya's "special someone", she warmed up to him rather quickly. She thinks he's a nice, smart man, and admires him greatly. She treats him with respect, but also thinks it's her job to keep him in line when it comes to associating with other women. If there's one thing she can't stand about Mr. Nick is that he's just too easily swayed by pretty women! But no, really, she thinks he's a great guy.

Dick Gumshoe - Mr. Scruffy Detective is someone she admires as well! He's a cool detective that always tries to help out Phoenix and Maya, so that's always a good thing in her book. At first, his position seemed sketchy to her (the whole arresting Maya thing in 2-2), but she doesn't seem to hold that against him at all.

Larry Butz - Although she doesn't really know Larry that well, they shared a bit of a self-bashing party together. Her opinion of him pretty much narrows down to: He's a strange loser man that Mr. Nick is friends with.

Bikini - Pearl sees her as the jolly ol' lady that took care of them and made dinner for them (with which she helped!) when they were at Hazakura Temple.

[Enemies:]
Anyone that makes her family and friends sad!

Ini Miney - She pretended to be Maya and tried to frame her for murder. >:(

Dahlia Hawthorne - She tried to kill Maya. 'Nuff said. >:(

[Other:]
Franziska - Pearl didn't really like Franziska at first, and still is a little iffy around her. Franziska had accused Maya of being guilty when she had done nothing wrong (in JFA)! But after 3-5 was settled, she heard that Franziska had also made a great effort in trying to help out in the case, so her dislike of the prosecutor has dimmed. Just a little. Maybe.

Godot/Diego - She thinks he's a nice man. He did cheer her up that one time (3-5) and he even put himself in harm's way to save Mystic Maya! E-Even if it meant killing her mum that was channeling a psycho killer girl. That means he's good.

CHARACTER

[General personality:]
Pearl is a smart little girl who is mature and very skilled in spirit channeling for her age. She usually keeps to herself, is careful around people she doesn't know due to her upbringing, but is always relatively polite. Phoenix had even stated that she spoke and laughed in a "refined tone". Still, she is an emotional girl, so she's quick to anger, gets upset very easily, and ends up bawling if something goes terribly wrong (usually involving Maya). She had never left the village or came in contact with strange people -- men in particular -- before Phoenix came around, so there are lots of things she doesn't know or understand, but she's always eager to learn and does so very quickly. Her weak points are spelling and reading. She is very smart, but she's also very naive and innocent, especially in the topic of love and romance.

Despite her small size and gentle mannerisms, she's a real trooper when she wants to help those she cares about, going to great lengths (like running all the way from the Kurain Village to the courthouse!) to do what she can... even if she doesn't always know what she can do help.

[Appearance:]
Looks the same.

[Background:]

Pearl grew up in Kurain village, living with her mother. She was born into a family where her mother and father were unhappy, and ultimately led to her father leaving them when she was very young. This was a common occurance in most Fey families, so she carries a strong wish to see people she cares about in caring and loving relationships, almost taking the vision to a fantasy-like level. Her friends are few, but she grew very close with her cousin Maya Fey and plays with her (and her ball) whenever she gets the chance.

She met Phoenix Wright during 2-2, and quickly made friends with him when she realized he was the person that Maya kept talking about. She provided him with a key that solved the case, and introduced him to "Psychelocks" via the Magatama. Her entire life changed after that case, what with her mother being thrown into jail, and now that she has no other family (that isn't incarcerated or deceased), Phoenix and Maya have taken up the role.

Skipping ahead a few trials involving flamboyant magicians, kidnappings, and all that other mumbo-jumbo, there's case 3-5. Pearl found a letter instructed by her mother to channel a person named Dahlia Hawthorne at a certain date and time. When she fails to do so, she becomes upset and feels useless. She only feels worse when the case is over and finds out that Mystic Misty was killed while channeling Dahlia in Pearl's stead. In the end, Maya was Pearl's pillar of strength and gave her the strength to move on.

Over the two-three years Pearl spent with Phoenix and Maya, she had gained a lot of knowledge of the outside world, but still has much to learn. She's currently residing in Kurain Village, where Maya had settled her in nice and comfortably. Whenever Maya plans to go into the city, Pearl sometimes tags along. Sometimes she'll break a couple of rules and wander into the city on her own...
