I believe that the contest is a useless exercise.

Your point on the races, however, was rather apt. It is too bad that most others do not share your sentiments.

It is, but it does provide a kind of false hope.

The peace said races garnered may have been temporary, but if one holds them in good spirits, perhaps it can happen again. It is unlikely at best, but it costs me no extra effort to do so.

I dunno. I'm from Licere, but there's always sorts of tourist traps and things like that running around the city.

Well, I have no proof of any wrong doing. Though I can not say I would be overly heartbroken if the 4423 feel for such a trap.
