Asshat is a term I have been using rather frequently this past week. Monday through Friday from 5-6 pm my rage knows no bounds as I sit in rush hour traffic in New Orleans. They say there are only about 60,000 people back in the city right now and they are all apparently on the road at the same time, between my car and home. Only about 1 in 10

I'm so frightened that you have updated. I opened my friends page and saw your icon and couldn't figure out if it was really you or someone with the same icon. I actually haven't read your entry yet. I just felt compelled to mention my shock to you.

Now that I have actually read your entry, what happened to the wonderful phrase that is "grumble bunnies"?

Besides that, you give me so much to look forward to upon my return. Especially since I will be working the lovely 6pm-2am shift. Luckily, the drive is what a minute, so that isn't terrible. But the darkness creeps me out more than anything.

My rage has gone beyond the realm of "Grumble Bunnies". Other times it may work but for dealing with 5 o'clock rush hour every day I had to kick it up a notch.

You might not have to work 'til 2am right away since they still have a citywide curfew of 2 right now. We're supposed to have a meeting about this whole open-until-2am-insanity next week so let's see what happens.

holy shit. an update!

i hope everything in nola will get better with the return of the students. i think the city can make it. if i can get back there in june then i'll glady volunteer my services. whatever those may be.

it's amazing how little we pay attention to conveniences 'til they're gone.
