Life is awesome. Enjoying life is more awesome. I got my periods today, exactly on time. I love that after a few months (well, perhaps more than 6 months) after taking Implanon out my periods have readjusted and gone back to normal, just like when I used to have them. What is Implanon?

implanon is a little plastic rod, its about 5 cm or so, and mega thing, like, really thin, and it gets injected into the skin, well under skin of your arm. its a contraceptive. it lasts three years and releases a certain chemical or rather, hormone every day i think. its pretty much 100% safe, as in, u wont get pregnant, but of course nothing is 100%. i'm sure you'd have them in america, but it might just be under a different name.

yeah, when you have it put in, there are no guarantees about what happens to your periods, some people stop them altogether (like me), some people get small bleeding every day, some people get heavy bleeding... its the "run of the luck" or whatever. why did your friend have to go to hospital??? was it because she bleed for so long? yeah, i dont really recommend getting it in again... though it did have a lot of benefits.
