It's interesting for me-- when I started seriously doing yoga at around 25, I was one of those chronically sick people who the doctors can't find anything wrong with, so spends 16 hours a day in bed. And doing yoga then was tough, but it was like a cup of coffee -- got me awake and out of bed and half-capable of dealing with my day.
Now 10 years later, I'm less chronically sick (unless you count my wrist, which m-fing "gluten-free" I should never eat food other people make), but I have more classic aches and pains, and signs of ageing. So the yoga's more of a personal challenge now, rather than something to keep me going.

I am annoyed with my docs, any issue I have gone in for they either can't diagnose or do, but are willing to let me live with the problem as long as it's not stopping me from functioning. ARGH........
I may work in a hospital, but as far as I am concerned, doctors suck. :o
